Why are you passionate about going lead-free?

I have been working professionally to reduce lead on landscapes for several years. In my current role as the Director of Sporting Advocacy at the National Wildlife Federation I focus on hunter/angler conservation efforts. My switch to lead-free was more than 14 years ago after shooting a cow elk with lead while I had a young son and a pregnant wife.
