2022 Wyoming Women's Foundation Antelope Hunt

Sporting Lead-Free continues to strengthen ties with organizations such as the Wyoming Women’s Foundation, a priority fund held at the Wyoming Community Foundation. Their biggest fundraiser of the year is the Women’s Antelope Hunt which takes place in Ucross, Wyoming, and this year was the 10th annual!

During the weekend, 46 women were paired with a landowner and guide and were given access to hunt on several private ranches. Outreach Coordinator, Hannah volunteered for the second year with various tasks including helping hunters sight-in and practice their shooting positions. This provides SLF a unique opportunity to connect with new and experienced hunters from all over the US!

Next year, Sporting Lead-Free is hoping to provide lead-free ammunition to participants who borrow rifles and provide more information about how to switch to lead-free ammunition prior to the hunt.
